It’s n-ice weather for penguins!
Whipsnade Zoo rockhopper penguins enjoy a winter walk
Brr! This week’s snowfall didn’t seem to worry rockhopper penguins at Whipsnade Zoo.
They really were in their element in the white stuff.
As the temperature plummeted, a blanket of snow descended on the zoo.
The penguins are pictured here in one of a series of snowy snaps sent to us by the zoo team.
For more of the wintry scenes from Whipsnade, see the January 16 edition of the News/Gazette.

> Our photographer Jane Russell headed for Dunstable Downs on Monday, January 14, to capture snowy scenes on camera.
Snowfall turned the Downs into an even more magical landscape than usual.
Hardy souls wrapped up warmly to brave the chilly temperatures, and went for a wander in the winter wonderland.
Don’t forget to share your own special snowy snapshots with us.
If the snow does return later this week, as expected, we’d love to see pictures of your snowmen and the winter landscape in your area.
