Man is targeted by gang in early hours robbery

A man was robbed by a gang in Houghton Regis in the early hours of Sunday, January 6.

Three men stole his mobile phone in the robbery, at about 12.30am.

Now police want to hear from anyone who saw these men.

The victim, 22, was making his way home after a night out when he was robbed in Neptune Square.

Three men surrounded him, forced him against a wall and took his Apple iPhone from a trouser pocket before pushing him away.

Det Con Lucy Arnold, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who was in the Neptune Square area at the time of the robbery and may have seen the thieves.

All three robbers were white and in their late teens. One man was around 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build and had stubble. He wore dark trousers, dark trainers and a navy blue zip-up hooded top with white drawstrings.

A second man was around 5ft 11ins tall, had a large build and wore a black hooded top. The third man was about 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, wore a dark-coloured hooded top and was holding a BlackBerry mobile phone.
