Man robbed in Dunstable crime hotspot

A man was attacked and robbed in Dunstable on Tuesday morning as he walked through a notorious footpath.

The 24-year-old victim was in Dog Kennel Walk when he was approached by a man in his mid-30s, who asked the victim for a cigarette.

When the victim said he did not have one, the offender punched him in the face.

He then took an XBox 360 game and some money from the victim before fleeing.

The offender is described as black, 6ft tall, wearing short black afro hair and wearing a dirty green jacket and blue jeans.
