Pedestrian hospitalised after traffic collision

'A pedestrian in his 70s was taken to hospital after colliding with a car in Dunstable at about noon today (February 20).

The incident, involving a Vauxhall Vectra, happened just before 12 noon outside the Salvation Army Hall in Bullpond Lane.

The man – who was bleeding – was taken to Lutonand Dunstable Hospital while police close the road at the junction of Icknield Street.
