A superb new ICT suite at a Dunstable school has been given a VIP launch.

South West Beds MP Andrew Selous was invited to Ashton Middle School to open the purpose-built new facility.

The ICT suite, which cost £20,000, was created as part of the capital buildings programme for the High Street North school.

And the school team think it has been worth every penny.

New head Lesley Phillips said: “This is just the beginning – watch this space!”

Meanwhile, the school is looking forward to its open evening on November 8, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Mrs Phillips said: “We welcome all new pupils and their parents to come along and experience the energy and enthusiasm of our staff and pupils, and to share in our exciting future. ‘Inspire All To Flourish’ is our mission statement, inspiring all to flourish is our promise.

“The ICT suite is certainly inspirational.”
