Search for victim of a robbery in Dunstable

Police are appealing for the victim of a violent robbery in Dunstable on Monday (February 3) to come forward.

At about 4.50pm five offenders surrounded the victim in Ashton Square before attacking him and removing property.

The gang then fled the area but officers, assisted by CCTV operators, gave chase and one person was arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Det Con Scott Hannam, investigating, said: “This was a nasty attack on a young man in the middle of Dunstable and it is important that we locate the victim to ensure that he is safe and well.”
