Shoppers checked out Paralympic Torch

Shoppers and staff at a Dunstable store had a chance to become ‘Paralympic Torchbearers’ for a few magical moments at a special event.

For a real Paralympic Torch was on show at Sainsbury’s in Luton Road on Friday, October 5.

And customers and staff had a great opportunity to pose with the torch for photographs.

They could bring along their own cameras and mobile phones to have themselves pictured with the torch.

Sainsbury’s Paralympic Events Team have been taking the torch on a tour of many of the supermarket giant’s stores.

It was a popular event at the Dunstable store, where a number of customers snapped up the photo opportunity.
