South West Beds MP Andrew Selous has welcomed news about a broadband boost for Houghton Regis homes and businesses.

He said BT had announced there would be an upgrade to high-speed fibre broadband for the area by the end of spring 2014.

This will also make fibre broadband more widely available in Dunstable.

The MP said: “I am delighted to see Houghton Regis and more homes in Dunstable and Luton are going to benefit from high-speed fibre broadband. I know this will be greatly appreciated by local people and businesses.”
