Story of tragic son finally told

editorial image

A former pub-owner who lost his son in a fatal car crash 14 years ago will be signing copies of his new book in Dunstable this weekend.

Declan Duggan’s book ‘In the Name of the Son’ is the story of how he coped with the death of son Kevin in 1998, and had laws regarding blood samples changed.

Declan said: “The book took six years to write and I can finally tell the story of how a father comes to terms with losing his son to a drink driver.”

The launch of the book will take place at Priory House Heritage Centre this Friday between 12-4pm and Saturday between 11am-4pm (November 16 and 17).
