Teen stabbed in row after party is gatecrashed
A teenager suffered several stab wounds while saving a friend after a house party in Houghton Regis was gatecrashed last week.
As people left the birthday party in Chelsea Gardens on Friday, January 4, a number of scuffles broke out and the 18-year-old victim jumped to the aide of a friend who was being attacked.
He was then struck across the head with a bottle and became involved in an altercation of his own.
After the attackers fled, the victim realised he had suffered three stab wounds to his back and shoulders, and made his way to Luton and Dunstable Hospital for treatment.
Det Con Hayley Williams said: “This was a very nasty attack which could have resulted in far more serious injuries than it did. Thankfully the victim has not suffered any lasting damage.
“We have spoken with a number of witnesses who were invited to the party, but I want to speak with anyone who was in the area and may have seen this vicious assault taking place.
“The offenders were not afraid to use violence and weapons to cause harm and we must find them as soon as possible to stop them from committing any further offences.”
