Three adventurous members tyre-fitters from Dunstable are taking to the hills to help the company hit its £100,000 fundraising target for Breast Cancer Care.

Chris Kisby, Emma-Jane Kisby and Claire Murray - a father-and-daughters team from Easy Tyre & Autocentres in High Street South – HiQ’s largest franchise partner – are setting off to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge.

They will attempt the feat from October 18th-20th as part of HiQ’s Project Pink fundraising efforts.

The challenge will see the trio trek the heights of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over three days, climbing for over 15 hours and driving 11 hours from peak to peak for Pink October.

Emma-Jane said: “This is not going to be an easy challenge, but we are very excited at the prospect of raising a target of £2,500 for Breast Cancer Care.

“We’ve all been training hard to make sure we’re geared up for the challenge and can’t wait to get started!”

Chris, Emma-Jane and Claire have been strong supporters of Project Pink since it began three years ago.

The team has raised thousands of pounds for the charity so far.

HiQ’s marketing manager Geraldine McGovern said: “Chris, Emma-Jane, Claire and all of the HiQ staff across the Midlands have done a fantastic fundraising job so far, and the lengths that they’re going to keep that total rising is truly inspiring.

“We can’t wait to cheer them on as take on the Three Peaks to help us hit our £100,000 target.”

Along with the Three Peak Challenge, HiQ centres all over the UK will be bag-packing, cake-baking, raffling and tin-shaking to help reach the fundraising target.
