Beecroft Lower School in Dunstable are next week hosting a ‘really big’ coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event will be hosted at the Westfield Road School on Tuesday, October 23, between 9-11am.

Beecroft’s Veronica Reavey said: “We support lots of charities but we’ve really gone to town with this one this year.

“We’re hoping and praying it’s going to be really big.”

There will be a raffle and a cake sale at what will be Beecroft’s biggest charity event of the year.

Every child at the school has coloured in their own gingerbread man invitations to take home to their parents.

Veronica added: “All are welcome. We’re having a non-uniform day where the children bring in a pound which goes towards to total fund.”

To donate towards the raffle, or for more information, call Mrs Reavey on 01582 663486.
