Students at a Dunstable school are heading off to a fun outdoor education course in north Wales thanks to the Watling Street Club.

Year 11 students from Weatherfield Academy, in Brewers Hill Road, are off to the Blue Peris Mountain Centre in Caernarfon after a generous £1,500 donation from the club.

Headteacher Joe Selmes told the Gazette: “We are very fortunate to have such close links with the Watling Street Club.

“I know our students continue to flourish because of the partnership we have established and built over the last 12 years.”
