A Luton recruitment agency has set itself a target to fund 6,000 hours of vital care for Together for Short Lives, a charity for children with life-limiting conditions.

Some of the money will go towards Keech Hospice Care, which is based at Bramingham Lane on the outskirts of Luton.

Staff at Hays, a specialist recruitment group, chose Together for Short Lives as their charity partner for 2015 - 2017.

They will undertake a number of sponsored events such as bike rides, cake sales and family fun days.

Hays spokesman Geoff Sims said: “We’re very excited to launch our partnership with Together for Short Lives and look forward to seeing our staff take part in a variety of fundraising activities for this very special cause.”
Keech Hospice Care CEO Mike Keel said: “We’re thrilled that Hays will be raising money for children’s hospices for the next two years.

“Their support will help us provide vital care for children with life limiting conditions and their families.”
