The popular Sunday band concerts in Grove House Gardens, Dunstable, are back.

Dunstable Town Council is hosting the eight free concerts as part of its Summer of Music programme.

Following the performance by Dunstable Town Band on June 29, it’s the turn of Hertfordshire Town Band on July 6 and Leighton-Linslade Concert Band on July 13.

The rest of the line-up is: July 27, Welwyn Garden City Band (traditional band concert); August 3, Hitchin Band (songs from the West End); August 10, St Albans City Band (songs from TV and the movies); August 17, Chiltern Hill Brass Band (big band); August 24, Watford Band (Last Night of the Proms).

Dunstable Town Council events and marketing officer Lisa Vincent said: “Looking for an opportunity to sit in the sun listening to live music? Looking for a relaxing afternoon out with the family? If so then come down to Grove House Gardens for the Sunday band concerts.”

Refreshments are available to buy in Grove Corner. Chairs are provided, although you are welcome to bring your own.

The music runs from 3pm to 4.45pm with a 10-minute interval.
