Have your say

There’s nothing like a little perfect nonsense to tickle your tummy muscles and make you smile.

Award-winning comedy Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense is guaranteed to do just that – it’s a real mood enhancer, guaranteed to lighten your life.

Voted Best New Comedy at last year’s Olivier Awards, it features Robert Webb as the charmingly incompetent Bertie Wooster with Jason Thorpe playing his unflappable valet Jeeves.

It was adapted by brothers Robert and David Goodale, with the blessing of the Wodehouse Estate.

Like many siblings growing up, the Goodales enjoyed their own particular brand of humour and invented a range of ridiculous characters that seamlessly evolved into members of their own family.

It was only later they realised P G Wodehouse had beaten them to it, creating an entirely credible world full of even more deliciously bonkers characters.

Two years ago they were encouraged to combine their comic talents to adapt Wodehouse’s The Code of the Woosters for the stage. It was an instant success.

Robert Webb is best known for hs role as Jeremy in Channel 4’s multi award-winning Peep Show in which he stars alongside long-time collaborator David Mitchell, He’s also a regular on comedy panel shows.

> The show is at at Milton Keynes Theatre from April 7 - 11. Call the Box Office on 0844 871 7652.
