Last year’s charity music concert Studhambury 1 was so successful that it’s being held again this year.

The 2013 event raised £2,700 for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

Studhambury 2 will be staged on Sunday, August 24, from 3pm to 9pm, at the Red Lion pub in Studham.

The line-up consists of a range of local talent, with bands and solo performers.

It will be opened by local boy Heston Harris, who has benefited from the exceptional care offered by CLIC Sargent.

Garry Ellis, landlord of the Red Lion, said: “After last year’s fabulous event the villagers were determined to have a repeat this summer. Everyone is welcome.

“Come and enjoy listening to great home-grown musical talent and sample our range of real ales, fine wines and home cooking.”
