What are the odds of Nadine quitting her MP post?
Jungle MP Nadine Dorries is rated at 8/11 to not be re-elected as an MP at the next General Election, according to the latest bookies odds.
The Mid Bedfordshire Conservative MP has sparked controversy with her decision to appear on ITV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, which has meant she cannot be contacted by her party or constituents while she is in the Australian jungle.
And bookmakers Ladbrokes has offered odds on various possible scenarios, reflecting the public interest in her appearance:
Nadine is rated at 8/11 to not be re-elected at the next General Election;
The odds are 20/1 that she resigns her Parliamentary seat before the end of the year;
Nadine is 10/1 to leave the Tories and join protest party UKIP;
Senior Conservative MP Eric Pickles has a 100/1 chance of greeting her at the airport;
There are 500-1 odds of Nadine becoming the next Conservative Party leader;
And Nadine has a 66-1 chance of winning I’m A Celebrity.
