Ahtzaz Ahmed then came in to hit an unbeaten 82 from 43 balls with five fours and seven sixes to finish the innings with a flourish.

In reply, Langford were bowled out for 181 as Usman Farooq claimed 4-21, Mohammed took 3-31, Malik 2-28 and Ahtzaz Ahmed 1-16.

On Saturday, Gohar Ayub recorded a century as Lutonian beat Old Warden by 146 runs in the Beds Invitation League Division One.

After his side were put into bat, Ayub made 111, with support from Mubashar Hussain (47), Muhammad Kamran (46) and Tariq Butt (30) as Lutonian reached 312.

Harmain Asif then claimed 5-40, while Muhammad Kamran picked up 3-17 and Mohammad Adnan 1-29 as Old Warden were dismissed for 166 in 34 overs.

In Division Three, the IIs, who fielded a second team for the first time in their history, hammered Blunham IVs by 193 runs thanks to a superb ton from opener Mahboob Baig.

He plundered 149 including 20 fours and eight sixes, while Yasir Yakoob made 70 and Yaseer Masood also added 22.

In reply, Blunham could only make 136-6, with Tahir 2-11, plus wickets for Mir Khobaeb (1-4), Asif Mushaq (1-12), Yasir Yakoob (1-16) and Yasir Masood (1-30).
