Former Barton Rovers striker Keshi Anderson is in line for his Football League debut this weekend after Crystal Place agreed to loan him to League One side Doncaster Rovers.

The Keepmoat Stadium club beat off competition to sign the 20-year-old from Palace, who had been training at Luton Town prior to his big move to the Premier League earlier this year.

Anderson, who recently scored a hat-trick for the Eagles in an U21 match against Watford, could now go straight into the squad for Saturday’s match at Sheffield United.

Caretaker Doncaster boss Rob Jones said: “Keshi’s had a quick rise and I’ve liked what I’ve seen - pace and power - and taken up the option.”
