Luton manager John Still admitted he is worried about the diagnosis for midfielder Luke Guttridge.
The influential 32-year-old missed Town’s 3-0 victory over Mansfield on Saturday with a recurrence of his metatarsal injury which sidelined him for the Conference title run-in last term.
Still said: “Yes I am (worried). It’s the same problem he had before and we won’t know more until he sees the specialist on Thursday, who did the original operation.”
With Guttridge, Paul Benson and Alex Lawless missing for the immediate future, Hatters will be without three of their most important players at Bury on Saturday, but Still admits there is little he can do about it.
