Midfielder Jonathan Smith is the Luton supporters choice to be the club’s next captain after a poll conducted on the News/Gazette website.
With over 250 fans voting, Smith, who has enjoyed his best goalscoring return for Luton already this season, netting four times, polled over 25%, with defender Luke Wilkinson in second on 19%.
Current skipper Scott Cuthbert was third, while young midfielder Cameron McGeehan came fourth, with Mark Tyler and Magnus Okuonghae joint fifth.
When asked about the captaincy, Tyler said: “If it’s me, it’s me, if it’s Scott, it’s Scott.
“If it’s Wilko, everyone’s behind each other.
“So it’s down to the gaffer, he’ll make his choice soon and it’s not a big issue for me. But if I am, it will be a big honour.”
