Matt Macey: 7 - Another confident display on the whole from Macey who is looking more composed with every game. Important late save from Watkins denied Exeter all three points too.
Stephen O’Donnell: 6 - Few decidedly iffy moments that were pounced on by supporters but some good deliveries from the right and never stopped bursting forward to help the attacks.
Jack Senior: 6 - Back in the side to replace the injured Potts although was caught out a few times, particularly at the start of the second period, with Exeter taking full advantage to break the deadlock.
Alan Sheehan: 7 - Threw his body on the line bravely to make a superb block from Reid. Forced to struggle on manfully with a shoulder injury for a large part of the second period as he stuck to his task valiantly.
Glen Rea: 7 - Partnered Sheehan for the second game running, as the pair were limited Exeter’s attacks on the whole, until being caught out by a quickfire counter with the Grecians moving in front.
Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 7 - Town’s main driving force early on as once again he led Luton’s attacks, skipping past opponents with ease at times. Positional sense impressed, although tired in the second period as his first touch began to elude him.
Jordan Cook: 5 - One free kick that flew inches wide, but struggled to really affect the game in open play as his final ball was often lacking.
Jonathan Smith: 5 - Another who couldn’t really get going as Luton needed much more in terms of creativity from their midfield quartet on the afternoon.
Luke Gambin: 6 - Last game before he heads off to play for Malta this week but couldn’t influence proceedings as he might have liked, often shut down quickly by the visitors.
Jack Marriott: 6.5 - Recalled to the side and plenty of effort as usual, despite limited clear-cut chances on offer. Drew a good save from Olejnik with a header, while whistle-happy official Trevor Kettle prevented him racing through too.
Danny Hylton (STAR MAN): 7.5 - Wonderful header to net his 23rd of the season and thought he had won it, only to be denied by offside flag. Defensive work deserves great credit too as a superb block on his own line prevented City scoring and often first to clear a number of corners.
Isaac Vassell (SUB): 6 - Replaced Marriott just before the hour but couldn’t quite have the impact he would have wanted.
Ollie Palmer (SUB): 7.5 - Excellent cameo from the new dad who almost scored with one of his first touches and then wonderfully set up Hylton for the leveller.
Olly Lee (SUB): 5.5 - On for the closing stages as Town searched for a winner.
