Jim Stevenson played 90 minutes as Aldershot held promotion-chasing Macclesfield to a 0-0 draw in the Vanarama Conference on Saturday.

Charlie Walker and Lee Angol started for the first time together for Boreham Wood as they earned a 1-0 win at Maidenhead in Conference South.

Walker was withdrawn after 69 minutes, but Angol had a hand in Ricky Shakes’ 82nd minute winner as Wood stayed second.

Zane Banton almost grabbed a late consolation for Hemel Hempstead but they were defeated 3-0 at home by Bath City in the same division.

Brett Longden was selected for St Neots Town as they hammered Cirencester 4-0 in the Southern League Premier Division, while winger Kynan Isaac started for Banbury Town in a 4-2 home defeat to Chippenham Town.

Ian Rees played 85 minutes for Hitchin Town as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Dorchester.

Midfielder Charlie Smith made his debut for Dunstable Town as they came back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw at Weymouth.

U18s striker Tuki Tayali started for Barton Rovers as they were 2-0 winners over Leighton Town in Division One Central, while fellow Town younster Lucas Perry was named on the bench.
