Former Hatters defender Brett Longden has agreed a one year deal with Southern League Premier Division side St Neots Town.
The 20-year-old, who made four appearances in total for the Hatters after coming through the ranks at Kenilworth Road, was one of 10 players released by boss John Still recently.
Longden spent a large part of the season on loan with Saints as first team manager David Batch told the club’s official website: “Brett did a great job for us last season, playing in every game on our run to the play off final.
“The best thing is that I think there is more to come. His pace is a massive help and his understanding continued to improve.
“If he works hard and adjusts to life outside of full time football, I hope that he can progress further up the pyramid.”
