Ten-man Dunstable claimed a 2-0 victory at Hadley on Saturday to stay top of the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division.

Debutant centre-half Junior George was dismissed early in the second half for a second yellow card, but the Blues held on to complete a league double over the Hertfordshire side.

Town went ahead on five minutes when Wayne Mills’ long through ball was gathered by Chris Francis, who found the bottom corner.

After the break, the second arrived when Francis found Tony Burnett, who rifled his shot into the roof of the net.

Dunstable Town entertain Holmer Green in the league tomorrow evening.

Blues: Taylor, Mills, Mead, Pickering, George, Carney, Cooper, Burnett (Barnett), Francis, Frate (Bufano) Hutchins (Buchanan).
