Flynn hints at starting role for Howells in Wales game

YOUNG dragon Jake Howells looks set to roar when Wales U21s play Hungary in a friendly at Haverfordwest on Wednesday, August 10, writes Mark Wood.

Welsh boss Brian Flynn has been massively impressed with the youngster and hinted he could be in the starting line-up on the day.

He said: “There’s a good opportunity he will start. I’ve been very impressed with him both on and off the field.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with him on the training field and in the matches.”
