Luton Town have confirmed that Lil Fuccillo is still at the club despite long-standing rumours to the contrary, writes Mark Wood.

Taken on as technical director in March, managing Gary Sweet admitted that the dynamics at the club had changed over the summer. And, although he is able to take on work for other concerns, he is still very much a part of the Kenilworth Road set-up.

Sweet said: “Lil’s still employed by the football club.

“I think it’s fair to say that since employing Paul Buckle and with the changes that we’ve made with the squad over the summer and the fact we’ve got quite a tight, settled squad now, the board felt the demand to have somebody as a technical director has lessened.”
