Luton rule out appealing Henry’s red card
Ronnie Henry gets to grips with Daniel Preston as both saw red on Saturday
Boss Paul Buckle has confirmed he won’t be appealing the red card picked up by captain Ronnie Henry during Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to AFC Telford, writes Mike Simmonds.
After Jon Shaw was pushed to the ground, an almighty melee ensued with Henry and Daniel Preston both sent off for their parts.
Buckle also admitted he may call off his search for a centre-half after Dean Beckwith’s performance against Ebbsfleet on Monday.
With Henry suspended for another two games, Janos Kovacs doubtful with a groin injury and Garry Richards a long way off full fitness, the boss had intimated he would be forced to act before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday.
