Rowe-Turner backs Hatters strikers to fire at home
Lathanie Rowe-Turner sees another chance go begging at the weekend
Hatters defender Lathaniel Rowe-Turner chalked Saturday’s shock defeat at home to AFC Telford down to experience, writes Mike Simmonds.
The centre-half could only watch on from the back as Town’s forwards wasted chance-after-chance on an unbelievably frustrating afternoon.
Rowe-Turner had to form another new central defensive partnership with Ronnie Henry after Janos Kovacs pulled out with injury during the week.
Although the only goal came from a defensive lapse, with Kieran St Aimie rising unchallenged to head home from a free-kick, the former Torquay man gave his most accomplished performance in a Luton shirt and is happy to continue in his central role.
