Hands putt in pockets for worthy cause

A memorial golf cup organised by a Houghton woman raised over £500 for the Lymphoma Association.

Jeanette Sarmple lost husband Len to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2002.

The competition raised £553 at Aylesbury Vale Golf Club, and entrants enjoyed a meal at the Cross Keys in Pulloxhill afterwards..

Jeanette said: “We would like to thank all our friends and family, also Aylesbury Vale and the Cross Keys for all their support.”
