Festive fair offers gift inspiration
The popular Knebworth Christmas Craft Fair returns to Knebworth Park on December 6-7.

The festive event is held in heated wooden-floored temporary exhibition halls and brings together some of Britain's top craftsmen and women, artists and designers enabling shoppers to browse in comfort.

The annual favourite will give visitors an ideal opportunity to find special and unusual gifts for friends and family.

There will be dozens of stands selling a variety of unusual craft items, including jewellery, glassware, lamps, soaps, candles, wooden crafts, soft toys, knitwear and even gifts for cats and dogs.

Other highlights will include specialist demonstration areas featuring such pursuits as bodging, bee keeping, fabric painting, blacksmithing, wood turning, caricatures and leather working.

A selection of Christmas food and drink will also be available, much of it from local suppliers.

Martha Lytton Cobbold, from Knebworth Park, said: "There is certainly plenty to keep up the Christmas spirit at Knebworth this year. It is a great time to get your gifts and spend a day out with the family."

The fair is open from 10am-6pm on both days. Admission costs £5 for adults, £4 for senior citizens and £2 for children.

To book, or for further information on either event, contact Charlotte Farrer on 01438 810931, email cfarrer@kneborthhouse.com or visit the website at www.knebworthhouse.com.
