A child-friendly version of Macbeth enthralled pupils at St Matthews Primary School, High Town.

Year Four youngsters were visited by the London-based Young Shakespeare Company, which performed the classic Shakespeare play.

And the children enjoyed meeting the actors, who donned authentic costume for the production.

Teachers at the Wenlock Street school hoped the show would enhance the pupils' understanding of the story and of the Tudor period.
