He’s the UK’s best-selling classical crossover artist of all time – and he is returning to the stage at the Grove Theatre, Dunstable on Friday June 17.

Russell Watson enjoyed a remarkable year in 2015, with a sell-out UK tour, special guest performances at US National Memorial Day in Washington DC, the Caracalla Unicef Concert in Rome and BBC Proms in the Park – a total of 92 live performances.

Russell’s career to date has included some notable achievements. His debut album The Voice held the number 1 slot in the US and UK simultaneously - a world first - spending a record-breaking 52 weeks at number 1 in the UK. He has now sold in excess of 7 million albums and won four Classical Brits.

Russell is recording a new album in 2016 and returning to the stage on a tour of Songs from the Heart, a tour that will feature a collection of his best loved songs, plus an exclusive preview of selected tracks from the forthcoming studio album.

Russell and the Grove Theatre will also be inviting a special guest, as the Hertfordshire Rock Choir performs Songs from the Heart with Russell. He has always been a strong supporter of community choirs, especially after his time as a judge on the BBC show Last Choir Standing. Following the success of working with choirs, Russel will be inviting local choirs on this tour.
