Talented youngsters are hard at work on the next Grove Production Project show – Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.

The cast has been announced and the sheet music is being distributed in preparation for the show, which is coming to Dunstable theatre.

The Grove Production Project is an exciting annual experience offering up to 100 young people the chance to work with a professional artistic, creative and technical team to stage a musical production on a West End-sized stage.

This year’s team of talented young people consists of singers, dancers and actors, as well as those supporting backstage with set design and technical elements of stage production.

The group will bring to life the timeless classic of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr, filled with magical fantasy, popular characters such as Belle, Gaston, The Beast and Lumière.

The show features all the wonderful and well-loved songs from the Disney movie, including Beauty and the Beast sung by the charming Mrs Potts.

Drawing on the success of previous years with titles including The Wizard of Oz, Oliver and Fame The Musical, organisers hope this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever.

It will be performed at 7pm on Thursday August 11 and Friday August 12 and at 3pm and 7pm on Saturday August 13.

Tickets cost £11.
