Fairytale magic at theatre

The Elves and the Shoemaker is an enchanting tale of magic and kindness and this brand new imagining offers original music, puppetry and even a little bit of magic.

Retired shoemaker Geoff and his wife enjoyed a long and happy life of magic, joy and fantastic shoemaking days.

But what was it all those years ago, that made their life so charmed? Perhaps a second visit from some old friends will help him remember and re-live the good old days.

The original story dates back to 1806, and was first included in the German version of Grimm’s Fairy Tales. It has since been copied and adpated on numerous occasions.

With a mix of laughter, song, sparkle and, of course, a visit from two cheeky little elves Full House promise bucket loads of impish fun for all.

Full House have previously brought such seasonal offerings as Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast and A Christmas Carol to Luton Library Theatre.

There will be a signed performance of the show on 19 December at 2.30pm

The Elves and the Shoemaker is on at Luton Library Theatre, Luton Central Library from December 12 to 24.
