The play is being presented by Toddington Amateur Dramatic Society on Thursday 17, Friday 18, Saturday 19, Thursday 24, Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September at 7.45 pm.

Written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and William Gillette and directed by Chloe White, the play is set in 1895, with the master detective Sherlock Holmes back in action. Only this time, the pursuer looks like becoming the pursued.

Sherlock is on the trail of a young English girl, who holds some incriminating letters written by a European Prince to her sister. But her sister is now dead – and she herself is being held by the villainous Jim Larabee and his scheming wife, Madge.
