The first annual Signposts Olympics event was the biggest client and staff event that the charity has held this year to recognise three decades of support for the homeless in Luton and Dunstable.

Participants took part in a 5-a-side game of football, egg and spoon relay race, welly wanging, three legged race, wheelbarrow race and a game of rounders.

The event took place at The Peter Edwards Recreation Hall in Slip End on Tuesday, June 30.

Andrew French has been supported by Signposts since April 2014, he said: “It was a great day. The weather was just lovely and the Healthy Lifestyles Group put on a lovely spread.

“Even though I did not physically take part, it was very entertaining and I am looking forward to the next event.

“I am proud to be a part of Signposts.”

To promote healthy eating, Signposts Healthy Lifestyles Group prepared the food.
