Sizzling entertainment is Cali-R promise

Cali-R, celebrating memories of the late lamented California Ballroom in Dunstable, returns to the marquee at Dunstablians Rugby Club on Saturday (July 11) for a night of soul, Motown, funk and ska.

The previous Summer Sizzler at the marquee in May attracted an enthusiastic crowd of 600 to listen and dance to promoter Sid Hudson plus fellow DJ Colin Watts.

Sid said: “It was a marvellous night and we hope to re-create that vibe on Saturday. Hopefully, the brilliant weather will continue and people will able to enjoy the air as well as the music.”
