There are three locals in the talented line-up – former West End veteran Ruth Platt, a mum-of-two from Leighton Buzzard; 17-year-old Brad Adams from Dunstable and aspiring Luton teenager Josh Hawkins, 16, of Bushmead.

So come along and join in the fun – it’s guaranteed to put you in a fantastic festive mood!

The ever-popular story of Dick Whittington and his cat opens at the Grove on Friday December 13 with a star-studded cast.

Leslie Grantham – alias EastEnders Dirty Den – is Dirty Rat and Ryan Moloney – Toadfish from Neighbours – plays the part of Idle Jack.

But it’s Jasette Amos, pictured, as Fairy Bowbells and Leon Craig – alias Sarah The Cook – who will probably steal the show.

Jasette is larger than life and twice as versatile and Leon, who stands 6ft 3in in his stocking soles, is going to make a hugely amusing dame with his towering blue bouffant wig, pouty lips and pink cheeks – oh yes he is!

He’s on the Panto Factor panel, alongside Jasette and gorgeous actress Anna Kumble, former 90s pop star Lolly.

Tickets for the grand finale on Thursday are only £5 each so ring the box office now on 01582 602080.
