Soaraway success for concert spectacular

THUNDEROUS applause greeted all the performers at a recent Charity Concert Spectacular at Dunstable’s Grove Theatre.

The event was organised by Pasque Harmony and featured the Morriston Orpheus male voice choir. There were guest appearances from flautist Harriet Baker, up-and-coming young singers Trystan Llyr Griffiths and Hannah Bennett and an outstanding debut viola solo from 16-year-old Tim Ridout.

Pasque Harmony founder member Margaret Hale-Owens said: “It was a brilliant night of music introduced by the uniquely witty Pasque ambassador Pam Rhodes and included a cavalcade of inspirational songs.

“The soaring finale saw everyone on stage to deliver the much-loved You’ll Never Walk Alone, followed by the Welsh national anthem – a thrilling concert closing.”

The evening raised more than £5,000 for Keech Hospice Care.
