Fawlty performances needed at auditions

Tring Festival Company will be holding auditions next month for its forthcoming production of Fawlty Towers.

Following the success of its 2009 production at The Court Theatre, Tring, the team will once again be presenting three episodes from the legendary sitcom – A Touch of Class, The Builders, and The Germans.

Auditions will be held at Marsworth Millennium Hall on Sunday, March 9 from 10am to 1pm with recalls being on Sunday 16th if necessary.

These are open auditions for anyone to attend; and the theatre company will be looking for a close mimic of the classic characters Basil, Sybil, Manuel, Polly and the Major with a little more flexibility around the cameo roles within these episodes such as Mr O’Reilly and Lord Melbury.

Rehearsals will be on Sundays (10am-12noon) at the same hall, with the show taking place in June at The Court Theatre.
