Hilarity in store for a night of comedy

The unique humorous observations of comedian Richard Blackwood will be tickling the funnybones of theatre goers at Luton Library Theatre on Saturday.

‘Jerk and Jollof’ is an evening of hilarious comedy with the well-known TV personality and comedian that explores life’s experiences from British African and Caribbean perspectives.

Blackwood presents his unique humorous observations alongside guest appearances by Toju, who appeared in Britain’s Got Talent, Mr Cee, and Babatunde.

Jerk and Jollof has been described as ‘The best in African & Caribbean comedy’. Jerk is the part of the show that presents humorous insights from the Caribbean cultural experiences of Richard Blackwood and Mr Cee.

Jollof is the part of the program that offers stand up from a British African perspective in the form of wit from Babatunde and Toju.

Richard Blackwood is regarded as one of the best British comedians currently touring.

Mr Cee described as ‘Cool, Charming & Conscious’ is fast becoming one of the ‘New’ acts to watch.

Babatunde is a comedian and actor. From the age of 17 he has been performing around the UK, bringing his comical perspective on life, growing up in a north London Nigerian home. Toju fresh from his performance on the Britain’s Got Talent semi-final where he won Ant and Dec’s golden buzzer vote, has appeared many times on Channel 4s BALLS OF STEEL as the Militant Black Guy. He has earned the reputation as one of Britain’s top comedians.
