There’s something for everyone as The Grove theatre welcomes the Spring

As Dunstable’s premier theatre unveils its Spring season there’s never been a better time to check out The Grove.

From panto to comedy, musical theatre to drama, there’s something for everyone.

Currently playing until Saturday is the timeless classic The Mousetrap as it celebrates its diamond anniversary tour.

But even if that’s not enough to tempt you, next Wednesday The Sooty Show rolls into town with Sweep, Soo and Sooty’s TV partner Richard Cadell.

For Strictly fans, an Evening with Stars from Strictly Come Dancing is on next Thursday with two of its stars Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas.

Step back in time with The Drifters on April 11 with their Optimum Tour and on Saturday April 12 The Grove is busy with its Easter Fayre during the day, with a variety of stalls with a range of artists, designers and craftspeople.

In the evening its back to the 50s and 60s Vegas heyday with Rat Pack Live, the Swingsational Dean, Sammy and Frank spectacular.

As the country prepares to commemorate the anniversary of the First World War there’s Bless’Em All with all the great songs and music from the Second World War, on April 16.

For opera lovers, Verdi’s Nabucco is on April 14, and don’t forget the Easter panto, with legendary magician Paul Daniels as the King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, on from April 18-21.

The tale of The Little Mermaid is brought dramatically to life by Ballet Theatre UK on April 22, and on April 24 songbird Ruthie Henshall will be providing An Intimate Evening in a new and personal show.

The classic hits of Buddy Holly will be on show on April 25 with A Legend Reborn, featuring such greats as Peggy Sue, That’ll Be The Day and Oh Boy, and to round off the month there’s an all star female cast performing to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer on Sunday, April 27.
