When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor takes into account the quality, quantity and frequency of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period, as well as ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Karen Perkins, director of arts and museums for Luton Culture, said: “We are delighted. It is a true source of pride for the entire team at Luton Culture and we’d like to thank all of our recent visitors who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor.

Stockwood Discovery Centre will be running an exhibition and series of activities entitled Bricks in Motion – The History of Transport in Lego. It will run from Saturday July 4 to Sunday September 6.

Various other special days are planned at the centre, including a Bee and Honey Day on Sunday July 26 with demonstrations of beekeeping, and displays of stationary steam engines every Wednesday from July 29 to August 19.
