Celebrating careers of many years
TWO leaders of Luton’s property scene have celebrated significant career milestones.
Trevor Hill has been with Connells for 30 years while Sam Bains of Ultimate Connexions, celebrated 20 years with a James Bond- themed party.
When proud Lutonian Trevor, pictured right, joined the town branch of Connells as a sales negotiator in 1981 he had already been a Vauxhall engineer for 14 years. But his career went up a gear at the estate agency.
Trevor is now regional land and new homes director. He still enjoys and is motivated by his work. He said: “I have loved every minute of my 30 years with Connells and still very much enjoy coming to work, because every day is different with fresh challenges and goals.”
Brought up in Luton, Trevor still lives in the town with his wife Jan, to whom he has been married for 39 years. He has two children and two grandchildren and is very much part of the local community.
Trevor is a keen sportsman, having previously represented Bedfordshire County at tennis, table tennis and football, as well as playing semi-professional football for Dunstable Town FC.
What’s more Trevor is an avid golfer and is a member of South Bedfordshire Golf Club in Luton.
l Sam celebrated 20 years of her Ultimate Connexions Property company with a lavish 007-theme party at Luton Hoo Walled Garden for 250 guests. She has exploited a niche in advising clients on developing closed pubs.
Sam said:”I’m now looking forward to celebrating the next 20! We are proud to have helped thousands to sell and buy homes. It is extremely exciting to be now advising clients on developing.”
But Sam’s got no intention of resting on her laurels. She said: “We have a lot of exciting new divisions of Ultimate Connexions being launched soon – so watch this space!”
