The Conde Nast Traveller poll places it ahead of Heathrow

London Luton Airport (LLA) has been ranked the second best airport in the UK by readers of Conde Nast Traveller magazine.

The annual poll of 240,000 readers places the airport head of major players including Heathrow.

Luton Airport, which has held the coveted second place spot for the last three, years has had a successful summer period welcoming 4.3 million passengers – winning a further accolade as finalist in the UK Customer Experience Awards 2022 in the Best Business Change & Transformation category.

Alongside increasing passenger numbers, LLA has continued to provide a great customer experience with an average wait time in security of nine minutes or less. With more than 80% rating their experience as very good or excellent, this consistent service is clearly reflected by the positioning in the Readers’ Choice rankings.
