The visit was part of the Tesco Eat Happy Project, the store runs Farm to Fork trails for primary school children to help them gain hands-on experience about where food comes from.

Karen Linley, Tesco’s area community champion, said: “To celebrate harvest we invited Foxdell Junior School in to work in our bakery and help produce a wheatsheaf as part of our harvest themed trails.”

Foxdell teacher Nisa Noor said: “The kids thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon making the bread, we want to thank Tesco.”
