Coronavirus latest: 223 new cases confirmed in Luton

223 new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Luton over the past 24 hours, according to figures from Public Health England.

The total number of cases in the borough now stands at 13,031 (+223).

The case rate in Luton is now 914.8 per 100,000.

Elsewhere in the county, Central Bedfordshire has 10,726 (+208) cases while Bedford's figure is at 8,898 (+179).

There have been 3,118,518 lab-confirmed cases across the UK, up by a daily rise of 46,169.
