Fears continue over rising daily Covid-19 figures, with hospital beds 96% occupied across England and Wales.

Yesterday (Monday), it was announced Wales would go into complete lockdown until November 9, with all but essential retail closed off to the public.

Difficult talks continue over whether Manchester should enter Tier 3 of lockdown. The government is reportedly offering £22m financial support to the metropolitan authority if it agrees to the measures, while local leaders are demanding £75m to meet the economic impact of another local lockdown.
